"If the sirens or lights on your emergency vehicle are malfunctioning, you've come to the right tutorial. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to resolve this issue on your own within a matter of seconds to minutes. These errors are not caused by us or our files; the issue may arise from incorrect installation on the running server or the misallocation or improper loading of the siren ID.

STEP 1

Begin by opening the two files, namely, "carcols.meta" and "carvariations.meta." We recommend using the "Visual Studio Code" program for this task. However, it can also be accomplished with any other text editing software of your choice.

STEP 2

Change the number in 'SirenSettings' to a new random one. It's best to replace the last 4-5 digits with random values.

Afterward, save the file.

STEP 3

Insert the same complete 'SirenSettings' number that you just modified in the 'carvariations.meta' file into the 'carcols.meta' file as well.

Don't forget to save the changes

STEP 4

Open the console by pressing 'F8' and restart the vehicle resource.

Alternatively, you can also restart the server.

FINISHED

Now, you can respawn your vehicle. If the issue persists, restart the tutorial from the beginning and use a different random number for 'SirenSettings'.
